Clint "Chavez" Peterson

Salina, Utah - Our loving Dad, Son, Brother, Husband and Friend, Clinton Eugene Peterson, age 28, passed away October 28, 2013 in Duncanville, Texas. He was born January 27, 1985 in Richfield, Utah, a son of Eugene Milton "Lefty" and Sherry "Toot" McIntosh Peterson. He married Noelle Kristine "Kris" Ekker, March 7, 2006 in Richfield. They were later divorced. Clint loved mechanic work, fishing, hunting, UFC and really everything to do with the outdoors. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, but the happiest times were with his daughter, Kendra. She was the star in his eyes. He is survived by his daughter, Kendra, and her mother, Kris Peterson of Salina; his mother, Sherry "Toot" and John Arnold Horne of Salina; sister, Melissa Peterson of Texas; and Shonie Larsen; and two step-children: Taylor Gallegos and Marcus Gallegos. He was preceded in death by his father, Lefty Eugene Peterson; grandparents: Leora and Milton Peterson; and an aunt and uncle, Gay and Paul Ivie. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 12 Noon in the Salina LDS Stake Center, 98 West 400 North in Salina. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home, 150 East Main Street in Salina, Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or at the Stake Center, Wednesday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Eastside Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
