Colleen Tanner Rose Las Vegas, Nevada/ Bicknell, Utah - Our kind and beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Colleen Brinkerhoff Tanner Rose, age 76, died September 2, 2003 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born March 19, 1927 in Bicknell, Utah, a daughter of George Benjamin and Bessie Bouton Hatch Brinkerhoff. She married Jesse Blair Tanner. They were later divorced. She married Jack Rose. They were later divorced. She is survived by her children: Robert “Bob” Blair Tanner of North Las Vegas, Nevada; Janice Adams of Las Vegas, Nevada; Carla Redmond and Jill Brown, both of Hanksville; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Kenneth James “Tiger” Tanner; three brothers and four sisters: Otto Brinkerhoff, Emil Brinkerhoff, Ben Jay Brinkerhoff, Ora Adams Thorsen, Gladys Whitlock, Betty Lou Brinkerhoff and Iretta Knighton Lanphere. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 8, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. in the Thurber LDS Ward Chapel in Bicknell, where friends may call for viewing Monday morning from 11:00 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Bicknell Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
