Connie Barrus Fraser, of Stansbury Park, Utah, was born September 21, 1936 in Murray, Utah to William Wendell Barrus and Eliza May Harman. She died May 25, 2017 in Monroe, Utah. Connie was an avid golfer, hitting 6 holes in one. She enjoyed exploring Utah on motorcycles with her family and friends. She was a talented seamstress, and enjoyed creating beautiful quilts. Connie worked as a beautician with her mother and sisters for many years. Her greatest joy is her daughters and husband, whom she idolized. She will be remembered for her spunky and fun personality and her ability to endure life’s challenges with strength and courage. Connie is survived by her daughters, Denice (Bart) Kunz of Star Valley, Wyoming, Kristie (Robert) Whitaker of Richfield, Utah, and Sandy Fraser of Stansbury Park, Utah; her sisters Gwen (Arzy) Crystal of Francis, Utah and Patsy (Larry) Wardle of Tabiona, Utah; 9 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Connie was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Lynn Barratt Fraser; her parents; her sister Peggy (Jim) Linden, brother, DeLoy Barrus; and grandson, Jeremy Kunz. A burial service will be held on a later date at Elysian Burial Gardens. Services are under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
