Connie Verlynn Hansen

Aurora, Utah - Our beloved daughter, sister and aunt, Connie VerLynn Hansen, age 34, died January 15, 2013 at her home in Aurora. She was born November 30, 1978 in Provo, Utah, a daughter of Jerry Wiley and Connie Rae Miller Hansen. She graduated from North Sevier High School, Class of 1997. She attended the College of Massage Therapy. Connie worked at Lynn’s Market in Richfield, and as a school lunch lady at Red Hills Middle School and Richfield High School. She is an active member of the LDS Church, teaching the Sunbeam’s Class in Primary and serving on the Relief Society Activities Committee. She loved making and taking gifts to her friends and neighbors. She enjoyed vinyl cutting, holidays and decorating. She like to go fishing, camping and enjoyed reading. She is survived by her parents, Jerry and Connie Rae Hansen of Aurora; her siblings: Britton and Lorena Hansen of Saratoga Springs; Warren Hansen of Boca Raton, Florida; Cassidi and Andrew Mecham, Jerianne and Kenny Prestwich, all of American Fork; Gerritt and Emily Hansen of Layton; Marshall Hansen and Aaron Hansen, both of Pleasant Grove; Annji and Brian Swenson of London, England; and Kaylee Hansen of Colorado Springs, Colorado; a grandmother, Ilene Hansen of Arizona; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; friends and her very special Sunbeams. She is preceded in death by her grandparents: J. Wiley Hansen, Gottlieb and Gretsel Miller; and an uncle, Louis G. Miller. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 1:00 P.M in the Aurora 2nd LDS Ward Chapel, 85 North Main Street in Aurora, where friends may call for viewing Friday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or Saturday morning from 11:30 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Aurora City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
