Redmond, Utah - Coy Marvell Anderson, age 47, died June 19, 2005 at his home in Redmond. He was born July 30, 1957 in Gunnison, Utah, a son of Marvell ‘Tig’ and Darlene Thompson Anderson. He graduated from North Sevier High School, Class of 1975. He married Lecia Ottley, August 13, 1977 in Aurora, Utah. They were later divorced. Coy serviced in the US Army. He was a truck driver by profession, but a mechanic by nature. He was a big fan of Nascar and anything with a motor. He enjoyed cooking and learned from the best, his mother Darlene. Most of all, Coy loved his children and grandchildren. Coy is survived by his children: Jennifer and Brad Barbre of West Valley City; Nicole Navarro and Isaias Veilegos of Rose Park; step-children: Chelsey Casimir and Garrett Rogers, both of New Mexico; grandchildren: Taylor, Alissa and Corey Barbre; Destiny, Preston, Vanessa and Felecia; sister and brother: Leslie Dickinson and Lloyd Dickinson of Aurora; Sterling and Myrna Anderson of Ivins. He was preceded in death by his father, Tig Anderson. Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 25, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. in the Redmond Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
