Salina, Utah - With great sadness we lost our sweet, loving husband, father, brother and grandfather, Dale Pratt Chappell. He passed away October 24, 2014 at his home in Salina. Dale was born March 7, 1925 in Lyman, Utah, a son of Harrison Pratt and Vanever May Coombs Chappell. Dale was a proud tin can sailor who served in World War II in the Pacific Fleet with honors. Dale married his sweetheart, Anna Louise Lau, sixty-five years ago on July 30, 1949. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple, January 26, 1995. Anyone who knew Dale, knew he was a devoted hard worker. He loved fishing and was always tinkering with something. He loved being outside in his yard. He was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in the Elder's Quorum and as a worker in the Manti LDS Temple. He was an amazing father and husband, who loved his family dearly. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
