Danny O'Neil

Delta, Utah – Danny O’Neil Jr. “D.J.” age 38, of Delta, was taken from us on Sunday, February 23, 2020 in a tragic accident near Antimony, Utah. He was born February 28, 1981 in Richfield, Utah, a son of Danny O’Neil Sr. and Julie Ann Meacham O’Neil. He married Darla Lynn Uptain November 7, 1998 in Aurora, Utah. They were later divorced. He married Dusti Murdoch August 20, 2005. They were later divorced. DJ enjoyed hunting, camping, building derby trucks, derbying and boating. He is survived by his father, Danny and Rose Ann O’Neil of Redmond; his mother, Julie Ann O’Neil of Delta; his children: Jordanay O’Neil of Venice; Landyn O’Neil, Ava O’Neil and Canyon O’Neil, all of Circleville; 2 granddaughters, Paislee Bell and Huntlee Kay, both of Venice; siblings: Melissa Ann Ekker and Jaimie Vega, Andrew and Tabby O’Neil, and Angela Lynn Macias, all of Delta; and his girlfriend, Aniesha Beal of Circleville. He is preceded in death by a brother, Michael O’Neil; grandparents, Ruby Jean Shaw and Arda Avalos; an aunt, Arvella Searle and a nephew, Jake Edward Ekker. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 12:00 Noon in the Deseret Oasis LDS Ward Chapel, 3423 West 4500 South in Oasis, where friends may call for viewing Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Delta City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
