Darwin Lorin Turner, age 70, of Venice, died Saturday, May 28, 2005 in Richfield, Utah. He was born September 12, 1934 in Aurora, Utah, a son of David Lorin and Emma Kennedy Turner. Darwin graduated from Wayne High School, Class of 1953. He married Dorothy Marie Hunt, August 16, 1956 in Richfield, Utah. Darwin was a master mechanic and he worked for Pearson Tire in Richfield. He enjoyed camping, motorcycling, 4-wheeling, gardening and mechanic work. Darwin enjoyed being with his family. He was a member of the LDS Church. He is survived by his wife of Venice; children: Pam and Jeff Hardman of Richfield; Steven and Tamara Turner, Blane Turner and Ryan Turner, all of Venice; Bruce and Brianna Turner of Salina; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister and brothers: LaDawn Zabriskie of Torrey; Roscoe and Jerry Turner of Mayfield; Russel and Maxine Turner of Taylorsville. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 2, 2005 at 12 Noon in the Venice LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. and at the ward chapel in Venice Thursday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in Venice Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
