David Baker

Bicknell, Utah - David Baker, age 64, passed away early Sunday morning, November 4, 2018 in Salt Lake City. David was born February 18, 1954 a son of Kenneth Fay, and Rachel Wood Baker. He graduated from Wayne High School in 1972. He attended a Trade Tech School for Autos. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. David loved to work on old cars, taking them apart and putting them back together. He liked to read. He enjoyed music from the 1960’s and 1970’s. David suffered in an auto accident in 1993, and he suffered from this accident for the rest of his life. He spent his last few years at Woodland Park Care Center in Salt Lake City. The family would like to thank those special people who helped in his care each day. David’s life was enriched by your loving care. David is survived by his siblings: Evelyn Back of Cedar City; Elayne Leslie of Murray; Judy and Gary Evans of Mesquite, Nevada; Ben and Kaye Baker of Bicknell; Lucinda and Charles Wilson of Las Vegas, Nevada. David was preceded in death by his father and mother Kenneth Fay and Rachel Wood Baker; a sister Norma Baker, and a brother Byron Baker; two brother-in-law’s Grant Back and Kjae Leslie. Graveside Services at Bicknell City Cemetery at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, November 10, 2018 in Bicknell, Utah. Services are under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
