David Hernandez

November 29, 1963 — December 16, 2005

Jose David Hernandez, age 43, died December 16, 2005 at his home in Richfield, after an eight month battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born November 29, 1962 in Mexico City, Mexico, a son of Sixto Hernandez Sanchez and Paula de Jesus Hernandez. David has lived in Richfield for the past 8 years, working for Royal Oakey Construction Company out of Orangeville and working on the natural gas lines in the area. He married Dehlia Marie Robison Street, April 12, 2003 in Salina, Utah. David was a member of the Catholic Church. He is survived by his devoted and caring wife, Dee, of Richfield; step-children: Autumn Wentz of Nephi; Winter Vegara and Crystal Diaz, both of Provo; Mickey Street of Orem; Mathew Street of Pleasant Grove; 12 step-grandchildren; father and step-mother, Sixto Hernandez Sanchez and Graciela Sandoval Hernandez of Mexico; brothers and sisters: Francisco Hernandez of Wisconsin; Sixto Hernandez of Cedar City; Maryanna Sandoval, Jorge Luis Hernandez, Carmela Hermandez, Jose Angel Sandoval, Hector Sandoval, Martin Hernandez, Jose Juan Hermandez, Jose Ramon Hermandez and Maria Hernandez, all of Mexico; parents-in-law: Richard and Iona Robison of Salina. He was preceded in death by his mother, Paula de Jesus Hernandez. There was a viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, for family and friends. At his request, David’s remains have been cremated and burial will take place at a later date. Funeral Directors: Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
