David Rivera

David Lee Rivera, age 40, passed away March 16, 2024, at his home in Torrey, Utah

David was born January 23, 1984, to Salvador Madino Rivera and Carol Ann Clarkson. He spent most of his childhood in Pendleton, Oregon. As a boy he enjoyed going to car clubs and watching Raiders games. He loved to spend time with his best friends. He attended Rancho High School.

He lived in Las Vegas, Nevada for 22 years, where he met Charlene Shalee Rivera. They were married in Las Vegas on May 14, 2004. Together they have three children.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

David will be remembered as someone who loved and cared for his family. He enjoyed spending time with his children as well as other hobbies, including playing video games, fishing, camping, mud digging and learning about cars.

He will be missed by his family and friends.

David is survived by his wife, Charlene, and children, Heaven Rose, Aaliyah Kalani and Brody James Rivera, all of Torrey; as well as his grandmother, Jennie A. Avila of Hesperia, California; and his cousin, Eddie Levens.

He is preceded in death by his mother.

A memorial service and burial for David will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. in the Torrey Cemetery, 44 UT-12 in Torrey, where friends may enjoy an open mic tribute and memories of David.

Cremation services are under the care of Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
