David W. Barney

Elsinore, Utah - Our beloved father, son, brother and uncle, David Wayne Barney, age 46, died May 20, 2013 in Provo, Utah. He was born November 25, 1966 in Salt Lake City, a son of Clarence Dale and RaeAnne Hooper Barney. David attended South Sevier High School. He loved to hunt and go camping and loved the outdoors. David loved all of his friends; and his three kids where his pride and joy. He was also very close to his nephews and nieces. He is survived by his three children: David Dale Barney, currently serving in the United States Army in Kuwait and his wife, Hannah, of American Fork; Shaielyn Ann Barney and Gage Dale Barney, both of American Fork; his father, Dale Barney of Elsinore; brothers and sister: Wade and Darlene Barney, Jay Barney, Alan Barney, Larena and Martin Gallegos, all of Elsinore; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, RaeAnne Barney; his grandparents: Clarence Barney, Thelma Johnson, Vernon Hooper and Grace Hunter. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 12 Noon in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel, 260 North 400 west in Richfield, where friends may call for viewing Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Annabella Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
