Deanne J. Jensen

Elsinore, Utah – Our kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter and sister, Deanne Jacobsen Jensen, age 61, passed away March 31, 2020 at her home in Elsinore, after several years of ill health. She was born May 1, 1958 in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Deloy and Barbra Dawn Utley Jacobsen. She married the love of her life, Phillip Earl Jensen October 12, 1985 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple March 29, 2008. Deanne is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was also a CNA working at the Care Center in Richfield and Monroe. Deanne enjoyed fishing, gardening, working with clay to make beautiful doll figurines, sewing, handcrafting reborn baby dolls, digging for old coins and old bottles, etc. She loved anything to do with her family and friends, especially her best friend, her husband, Phil. She is survived by her mother, Barbra Sudweeks of Elsinore; her husband, Phil Jensen of Elsinore; children: Russell Julander and Ladeena Anderson of Ely, Nevada; Rachel Barney of Wyoming; Cecilia and Chris Gentry of Elsinore; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Cathy and Dean Jensen of Elsinore; sisters-in-law: Veanne and Mark Bailey of St. George; Peggy Forbush of Monroe. She is preceded in death by her father, Deloy Jacobsen, a brother, Alan Jacobsen; and a brother-in-law: Russell Forbush. Graveside services and burial was in the Joseph Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
