Joseph, Utah - Deborah Ann Levi, age 49, of Moapa, Nevada and formerly of Midvale and Joseph, Utah, died November 1, 2004 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born March 29, 1955 in Richfield, Utah, a daughter of Fred and Julia Timican Yazzie. She married Wayne Levi in Las Vegas, Nevada and they were later divorced. Debbie was a member of the LDS Church. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and doing Indian crafts. She is survived by her two sons: Zachary Levi and Stacy Multine, both of Midvale; her ex-husband, Wayne Levi of Midvale; sisters and brothers: Jolene (Edwin Jerrilong) Yazzie and Fredena Conway, all of St. George; Jean (Harlan) Featherhat of Cedar City; Ganaver Timican, Elliott (Gina) Yazzie, all of Richfield; Rick (Jayelyne) Yazzie of Salt Lake City; step-sisters: Maxine Mayo, Darlene McFee and Karan Ann Mayo, all of Kaibab, AZ; step-brother: Elmer Mayo of Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Yazzie; her foster Mom, Mae Pinneo; mother: Julia Timican Mayo; step-father: Willis Mayo; sisters and brothers: Bessie Yazzie, Betty Jean Yazzie, George Yazzie, Mary Ann Yazzie and Bobby Yazzie; half-sister: Wilma Mayo. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 9, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel in Richfield. There will be a traditional Indian sing at the Koosharem Band of Paiutes Building, 800 North 100 East in Richfield starting Monday evening at 6:00 P. M. until Tuesday morning at sunrise. Additional viewing will be at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Tuesday one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
