Dee Reel

Panguitch, Utah - Delores Virginia Sample “Dee” Reel, age 75, of Panguitch, died April 12, 2006 at the home of her daughter in Laughlin, Nevada, after a lingering illness. She was born September 23, 1930 in Bridgeman, Michigan, a daughter of James and Lela Myers Sample. She married John Marcus “Doc” Reel, January 7, 1950 in Berian Springs, Michigan. Doc died September 28, 2001. Dee helped Doc in his Chiropractic business, and she was a member of the Baptist Church. Dee is survived by her children: Bill Reel of California; Linda Reel of Florida; Clarinda Reel of California; Sandra Reel of Nevada; Teresa and Monte Zufelt of Idaho; 10 grandchildren: Bridget Cooper; Shannon Nordstrom; Melvin Nordstrom; Kenny Hyde (Deceased); Elizabeth Reel; Kayla Reel; Benjamin Reel; Justin Reel; Christopher Reel, Andrew Reel, Traya Dee-Ann Zufelt; and Monte John Zufelt Jr; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers and 5 sisters: Charles Sample, Ray Sample, Mary Copaze, Harriett Mensie, Gloria Snider, Tootsie Gilliette and Emma Jean Johnson. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. in the Richfield First Baptist Church, located at 501 North Main Street in Richfield, where friends may call for viewing one hour prior to the services. Grave side services and burial will be Saturday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. in the Panguitch Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
