Dell Lewis

March 30, 1929 — December 4, 2005

Redmond, Utah - Adelbert “Dell” Lewis went to his heavenly home on December 4, 2005. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He was born March 30, 1929 in Salina, Utah, a son of Loren Guyman and Inez Marie Knight Lewis. Dell married his lifetime sweetheart, Betty Lou Dennison on March 15, 1950 in the Manti LDS Temple. His greatest joy in life was his wife and family. He took great pride in his yard. He loved to go camping, fishing, gardening, hunting and spending time with his family. He worked at the US Gypsum Plant in Sigurd for 40 years. He was a member of the LDS Church and active in Scouts and the Elder’s Quorum. He also provided community service to Redmond Town, taking care of Cemetery Services. He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he has touched. Dell is survived by his wife, Betty Lou, of Redmond; children: Glen and Natalie Lewis of Aurora; Pauline and Charles Keeran of Las Vegas, NV; Mark and Charmaine Lewis of Redmond; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Carl and Ramona Lewis of Redmond. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and three sisters; a son-in-law: Murrey Jack Edwards; and a grandson, Travis Charles Keeran. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at 12 Noon in the Redmond 1st LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Salina, Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. and at the ward chapel in Redmond, Wednesday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Redmond Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah. The family would like to thank all the Hospice nurses and Dr. Kimberly E. Beck, for their loving kindness.
