Richfield, Utah - Delphine Ardella Maasjo Hunt passed away February 22, 2015 in Santa Maria, California. She was born April 3, 1927 in North Dakota, a daughter of Simon and Amy Luella Dahl Maasjo. A teacher for 33 years, Delphine received education degrees from both North Dakota and California. Delphine was married to Herbert Wesley Hunt, Jr. on April 11, 1952 in Reno, Nevada. They were happily married for 58 years, when Herb passed away July 5, 2008 in Richfield. Delphine is survived by her children: Mary Morton, Carol and Neil Rickli; Herbert Terry and Anita Hunt; her grandchildren: Spring and Ray Kellermann; David Rickli; Savannah and Valentin Ivanitski; Christopher and Katie Hunt; Trad and Ricky Bognuda; Rachel and Al Buchan; Jennifer Hammack; her great-grandchildren: Jack, Matthew, Reese, Macie, Aleksander, Zac, Dylan, Brandon, Josh, Brittney and Bailey; two sisters: Geneva and Larry Martin; LaVancha and Merle Jansen. Delphine's family are hosting a celebration of her life on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 4:00 P.M. at the Quail Meadows East Clubhouse, 3400 Quail Meadows Drive, Santa Maria, California. Delphine will laid to rest next to her husband at the San Joaquin valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella, California.
