Dennis Durfey

March 30, 1974 — February 19, 2007

Teasdale, Utah - Our loving husband, father, son, brother and friend, Dennis Lawrence Durfey, age 32, passed away February 19, 2007 in Sevier County, Utah of a tragic truck accident. He was born March 30, 1974 in Granger, Utah, a son of Larry and Linda Carol Busenbark Durfey. He graduated from Granger High School, Class of 1992. He was an Eagle Scout. Dennis married Candy Caul (Kerr) in June of 1994 in Salt Lake City. They were later divorced. He married Suzette Brian, February 14, 2004 in Teasdale, Utah. Dennis was a master custom cement contractor. He loved to work with his hands. He was not afraid of hard work or afraid of working hard. He loved hunting and fishing and could tell hunting and fishing tales with the best of them. He loved Boulder Mountain and felt it was his very own Heaven. He will be greatly missed as a great hunting partner. Dennis is survived by his sweet and loving wife, Suzette, of Teasdale; children: Scott Edward Durfey, age 8 and Jeffrey Nay, age 19, both of South Jordan; Breanna Sue Petty and Brennon Brian Petty, age 19, Clancey Clark Bradshaw, age 15, Jessica Beverly Bradshaw, age 13, all of Teasdale; his parents, Larry and Carol Durfey of West Jordan; sister, Janet and James Alcala of Salt Lake City; brother, Jeffrey and Stacey Durfey of South Jordan; five nieces: Stevie, McKenzie, Sofia, Agustina and Maya. He will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends by the name of “Bro” who all know who they are. He was preceded in death by loving grandparents, Lawrence and Clea Durfey, Ed and Ethel Busenbark; several uncles and aunts and cousins and two very special friends, who also died too young, Scott Rasmussen and Kevin Utley. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. in the Loa LDS Stake Center in Loa, Utah. Friends may visit with the family at the Springer Turner Funeral Home, 260 North 400 West, in Richfield, Friday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or at the Stake Center in Loa, Saturday morning from 11:00 to12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Teasdale Cemetery.
