Richfield, Utah - Our kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, Dixie McKendrick Warren, age 69, of Richfield, passed peacefully in the arms of her husband on October 21, 2016 at her home in Richfield, after a short, but brave battle with cancer. She was born December 29, 1946 in Carbonville, Utah, a daughter of Charles Sherman and Delpha L. Davis McKendrick. She graduated from Carbon High School, Class of 1965. She married Johnny Milton Aquirre, February 17, 1965 in Carbonville. They divorced in 1968. She married Paul Timothy Warren, September 1, 1978 in Price. Dixie and Tim moved to Richfield in 1992. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Richfield. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, 4 wheeling, camping, gardening and reading. She will be greatly missed. Dixie is survived by her beloved husband, Tim Warren of Richfield; children: Melanie and Doug Gilbert of Elsinore; Destri and Rob Kenley of Salt Lake City; Vina Payne and Rob Wilsey of Daniel, Wyoming; 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: EmRoy McKendrick of Sunset; Norman S. McKendrick, Maxine and Bob Pitts, both of Carbonville; RaeDell and David Waller of New Castle, Wyoming. She was preceded in death by her parents; 5 sisters and 1 brother: Debbie, Billine, Maurine, Bonnie, Barbara and Cecil. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 12 Noon in the New Hope Baptist Church, 390 North Highway 118 in Richfield, where friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services. Burial will take place at a later date under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
