Don C. Shepherd

Sandy, Utah - Don C. Shepherd, age 56, died February 19, 2011 at his home in Sandy. He was born September 29, 1954 in Salt Lake City, a son of Joseph Chester and Elva B. Case Shepherd. Don spent his entire career in the construction industry working as a Dry Waller and finisher. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting. Don prided himself in roughing it with only his tent and open fire. He is survived by his daughter, Jamie A. Shepherd Brady of Midvale; step children: Tamara Sharp and Erik Brown; grandchildren: Abbigale Lynn Brady and Yasmine Sharp; sisters and brother: Nancy Henderson and Marsha Evans, both of Magna; Karen Shepherd of Central Valley; Rudy (Margie) Shepherd of Lehi; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles who will miss him greatly. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Chester Shepherd; his mother, Elva B. Case Shepherd Abney and his step-father, Norman Eugene Abney. Come celebrate his life with us on Friday, February 25, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. in the Annabella Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the Springer Turner Funeral Home, 260 North 400 West, in Richfield, Friday morning from 11:00 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Annabella Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
