Central Valley, UT - Our kind and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Donna Belle Whiting McEwen Camp, age 74, died February 21, 2008 at her home in Central Valley after a long illness. She was born February 24, 1933 in Provo, Utah, a daughter of Theron Don and Mary Isabell Getherum Whiting. She grew up in Provo and attended Provo High School. She married Jerald Homer McEwen December 23, 1949 in Pioche, Nevada. They were later divorced. She married Mack Dale Camp, December 1, 1973 in Richfield, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple, January 31, 1976. Donna was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in all the auxiliaries and as a Sunday School Teacher. She was a great cook, and she was well known in the community as a waitress, working for the Little Wonder Café and Days Inn in Richfield. Donna loved the mountains and she always had a lunch to eat when they went to the mountains. Her greatest love was her family. She is survived by her husband, Mack of Central Valley; children: Ricky and Amy McEwen of Richfield; Shane and Mary McEwen, Tracey K. and J Smithee, all of Orem; Berta Marie and Clarke Hoover of Payson; 23 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers: Joyce Thompson and Tessie Ewell, both of Payson; Patricia Comaduron of Springville; Bonnie Williams of Santa Barbara, CA; Sandi Shell of Orem; Larry Whiting of Provo and Dan Whiting of Mona. She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters: Betty Powell, Jerri Gulbransen, Peggy Hortt and Mary Whiting. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 12 Noon in the Annabella 1st LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or at the ward chapel in Annabella, Wednesday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
