Donna Jean Scott

Annabella, Utah – Our beloved mother, grandmother and friend, Donna Jean Arionus Scott, age 89, passed away June 2, 2024, in Riverton, Utah. She was born December 24, 1934, in Lead, South Dakota, a daughter of Edwin John and Mildred Louise Nelson Arionus. She grew up in South Dakota and graduated from Alameda High School in Alameda, California. She married Phillip L. Scott in 1954 in Alameda. They were later divorced.

She lived in southern California from 1957 to 1971.

Donna is survived by her children: David Scott of Sturgis, South Dakota; Jilene Vargas-Ryan of Salina, Utah; three grandchildren: Rigel Janisse of Hermiston, Oregon; Nicole Aguilar of Hawaii; and Nicolas Genzler-Scott of South Dakota.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Edwin John and Mildred Arionus.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
