Donnie Gragg

Aurora, Utah - Our kind and loving mother, grandmother, friend and neighbor, Donnie Sue Black Gragg, age 71, passed away suddenly on March 15, 2014 at her home in Aurora, of a massive heart attack. She was born September 21, 1942 in Bakersfield, California, a daughter of Douglas Donald and Mildred Pearl Johnson Black. She graduated from North High School in Bakersfield and attended Bakersfield College. She married Edgar William Gragg, Jr. April 5, 1967 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He died December 6, 2004. Donnie was an active member of the LDS Church. She worked at the Family History Center. She served as a Visiting Teacher and a Visiting Teacher Supervisor. She loved to attend the Temple. Donnie was an artist and loved to paint. She loved gardening and doing genealogy work. She loved to read and play games. She is survived by her children: Don and Wendy Gragg of Aurora; Barbara JoAnn and Michael Harville of Bakersfield, California; grandchildren: Douglas Gragg, Sarah Gragg, Brandon Herrin, Chelsea Herrin, McKell Herrin and Alyssa Harville (deceased). She was preceded in death by two sisters: JoAnn Black and Barbara Black. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 24, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the Aurora 1st LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call for viewing at the Ward Chapel in Aurora, Monday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Aurora Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
