Duella H. Weber

Duella H. Weber Bicknell, Utah - Our kind and beloved mother, grandmother and sister, Duella Hunt Weber, age 93, died June 25, 2003 in Gunnison, Utah. She was born January 19, 1910 in Torrey, Utah, a daughter of Charles Alford and Alta Curtis Hunt. She married Herbert Bruce Weber, September 21, 1927 in Green River, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple June 18, 1965. Herb died October 11, 1980. Duella was an active member of the LDS Church. She was a wonderful person, so full of life. She loved her family and her friends. She enjoyed raising a big garden and always bottled her own vegetables. She is survived by her children: LaCreed J. and Donna Weber of west Jordan; Franz Gail and Diane R. Weber of Lyman, Wyoming, Joyce and Ben Verl Tattershall of Steamboat Springs, Colorado; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; 1 sister: Beulah and Tony Hafen of St. George. She was preceded in death by 2 sons and 1 daughter: Harmond Bruce Weber, Gerald Alford Weber and Shirley Rae Weber; three brothers and six sisters: Floyd Albert Hunt, Sidney Rulon Hunt, Mary Violet Chaffin, Ruby Ruth Biggons, Lillian Ora Long, Alta Lucille Jones Sawdey, Charles Cleland Hunt, Vida Lorea Behunin and Donna Levoy Lunnen. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 30, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. in the Thurber LDS Ward Chapel in Bicknell, where friends may call for viewing Monday from 11:00 to 12:30 prior to the services. Graveside services and burial will be Monday afternoon at 5:00 P.M. in the Hanksville Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
