Dustin Snedeger

Salina, Utah - Dustin Herbert Snedeger, age 83, died peacefully at his home in Salina, November 8, 2006. He was born October 24, 1923 in Sigurd, Utah, a son of Archie Thomas and Luella Snow Snedeger. Dustin joined the US Army, November 27, 1940 and served during World War II until he was discharged October 24, 1942. He married Marceil colby, January 5, 1948 in Richfield, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple, April 2, 1981. She died May 10, 1998. Dustin love hunting, fishing and being in the out doors. He was a long haul trucker and enjoyed his work. He is survived by his children: Roberta Snedeger and Kurt Snedeger, both of Salina; Thomas and Christine Snedeger of Sonora, California; Debbie and George Stebbins of Las Vegas, Nevada; Clayne Snedeger of St. George; Darrell and Pam Snedeger of Annabella; Shane and Karrie Snedeger of LaVerkin; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marceil; a son, Dusty Snedeger; two sister and three brothers: Iris Snedeger, Harriett Margilon, Karl Snedeger, Monte Snedeger and Darr Snedeger. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Saturday, November 11, 2006 from 6 to 8 P.M. At his request, Dustin’s remains will be cremated and burial will take place at a later date in the Sigurd Cemetery beside his wife, Marceil.
