Ellen Lopshire

Junction, Utah - Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Catherine Ellen Rauch Lopshire, age 81, died March 28, 2012 in Provo, Utah. She was born August 3, 1930 in San Bernardino, California, a daughter of Arthur Fredrick and Ellen Catherine Savage Rauch. She married Lawrence Gilbert Lopshire, June 6, 1947 in Oceanside, California. He died April 27, 1986. Ellen and Larry lived in Poway, California from 1947 to 1973, when they moved to Junction, Utah. She opened the General Store in Junction in 1974 and sold it in 1981. Ellen attended the Richfield Bible Church in Richfield. She enjoyed doing ceramics, tole painting and making dolls. Ellen is survived by her children: Larry Gene and Victoria Lopshire of Ohio; Terry Lee and Mike Spitler of Junction; Jerry Lyn and Becky Lopshire of Salina; Garry Neil and Margie Lopshire of Springville; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Donald Lee Rauch of Williams, California; Victor Jerome Rauch of Sacaramento, California. She was preceded in death by two brothers, A. Fred Rauch and Norman Rauch. At her request, her remains have been cremated.
