Gunnison, Utah - Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Ellen Irene Gengler Treloar, age 83, passed away on March 25, 2007 in Gunnison, Utah, surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 2, 1924 in Richmond, California, a daughter of Samual Leroy and Rose Abrao Gengler. She married William Hawley Treloar, November 13, 1946 in Reno, Nevada. He died January 2, 1989. Ellen was a member of the LDS Church. She has lived in Gunnison for the past 25 years. She is survived by her children: Steve and Robin Treloar, Shelley and Tom Roberts, Fred (Sharon, deceased) Harris, all of Gunnison; grandchildren: Tina and Kemp Clark, Fred and Christine Harris, Michelle and Kay Shaw, Heather and Jonah Christensen, Travis Roberts, Samie Roberts, all of Gunnison, Mike and Tanna Hernandez of Salina; Kim and Brian Bennett of Payson, Billy and Chelsie Harris of Syracuse; 17 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews in California. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Treloar; her daughter, Sharon L. Harris; two sisters and one brother: Pearl Brown, Emma Ackelbein and Wilson Gengler. Grave side services will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at 12 Noon in the Gunnison City Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing at the Gunnison LDS Stake Center Wednesday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Gunnison City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
