Emily M. Gibbs

Emily Gibbs was born to Emilio and Jennie Martinez on December 17, 1960. She blessed us with her presence until August 28, 2020, when she passed away peacefully in her home in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Emily grew up in Fillmore Utah, the oldest of five children, with her sister Barbara and three brothers Vince, Arthur, and Greg. Emily often presented herself as having a tough outer-shell but was truly the most caring person. She was always willing to help anyone in need and never said no when asked to volunteer her time or affection. Her hobbies included horseback riding, crafts and flowers of all kinds, but her favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren. To Emily, her family was always the most important thing. Emily is survived by her parents Emilio and Jennie Martinez, husband Gary Gibbs, her son Dustin, daughter Danielle, and nine grandchildren. She will forever be loved by all of us, may she rest in peace.
