Eve Crandall Robinson

Eve C. Robinson Richfield, Utah - Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Eve Crandal Robinson, age 86, died with grace and dignity on January 1, 2004 in Richfield, Utah after living with Alzheimers Disease for the past six years. She was born May 13, 1917 in Springville, Utah, a daughter of David Delos and Alzina Tressa Hjorth Crandall. She married Max Edward Robinson, November 21, 1942 in Springville, Utah. Eve graduated from Springville High School, Class of 1936. She received a normal teaching certificate from Brigham Young University in 1939 and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Utah State University in 1961. Eve taught school in Beaver, Utah for three years and she served as a reading tutor for many years in the Richfield Elementary Schools. She was a member of the LDS Church, where she served as a visiting teacher, Primary and Mutual Teacher, Relief Society Teacher and she served on the Stake Relief Society Board. She was a member of the Richfield Cultural Club, the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and served as Sevier County Fair Floral Chairperson. Eve was an avid reader, excellent homemaker and she loved gardening and cooking. Her children and grandchildren loved to have her read to them. She loved to go with her family to their Torrey farm. She traveled extensively throughout the world with her husband Max, and their family. She dearly loved her husband and family. Eve is survived by her husband of Richfield; children: Sherrie Sellers of Pleasant Grove; Douglas and Carol Ann Robinson of Mapleton; Margie Robinson of Orem; 7 grandchildren: Jeff Sellers, Linda Sellers, Julie Ann Hatfield; Connie Sellers, Mike Robinson, Greg Robison and Gary Robinson; 8 great-grandchildren: Eric Hatfield, Ryan Hatfield; Aubree Hatfield; Ashlee Hatfield; Chelsea Robinson, Brooklyn Robinson, Cole Robinson and Halley Robinson. She was preceded in death by seven sisters and seven brothers: Ethel Crandall, Marion Crandall, Helen Crandall, Edith Crandall, Martin Crandall, Clifford Crandall, Fern Williams, Lee Crandall, Euzell Crandall, Ernest Crandall, Nellie Burt, Eddie Crandall, Maud Crandall and Horace Crandall. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 5, 2004 at 12 Noon in the Richfield 7th LDS Ward Chapel, located at 159 North 400 West in Richfield. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home, 260 North 400 West, in Richfield, Sunday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. and at the ward chapel, Monday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
