Richfield, Utah - Evelyn Langford, age 82, of Richfield, died January 17, 2017 at her home in Richfield. She was born June 6, 1934 in Salina, Utah, a daughter of Richard Selden and Geneva Ludell Hatch Langford. She graduated from Richfield High School, Class of 1952. After graduation she moved to Denver, Colorado and attended a business school. She moved to Cuba and worked there for 2 years with the Civil Service, and then went to Rangoon, Burma and worked. It was there that she met and married Park Wing (Bing) Chow in Rangoon, Burma and they had a son, Perry Bing Chow. Evelyn moved to San Francisco and worked for Sunset Magazine and then moved to Los Angeles and worked as a Legal Secretary for a Law Firm. After that, she started her own business of printing legal papers for lawyers. She also worked at Hughes Aircraft in Los Angeles. She retired and moved back to Richfield in 1999. She was a member of the LDS Church and enjoyed her visiting teacher and home teachers. Evelyn was an avid quilter and was a member of several quilting guilds through the years. She is survived by her son, Perry Bing Chow of Belise; brother and sister: Arland Langford of Cedar City; Naomi Stoker of Richfield. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Leola Rae and Calvin Montague Joyce Echo Langford; and in-laws: Bobbie Langford and Roger Stoker. Grave side services will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 12:00 Noon in the Antimony Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family Saturday morning at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. prior to the services. Burial will be in the Antimony Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
