Faith C. Wood

Monroe, Utah - Faith Cartwright Wood, age 99, of Monroe, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 26, 2016 in Richfield, and was reunited with her two sons, whom she missed so much. Faith was born September 30, 1916 in Princeton, Minnesota, a daughter of Eugene LaFayette and Allie R. Thomas Cartwright. She married Lewis Rocheford in Minnesota and they had two sons, Tom and Garry. They were later divorced. She married Vern E. "Jim" Wood, June 13, 1961 in San Diego, California. He died December 18, 2004. Faith enjoyed golfing, crocheting, gardening and fishing in her earlier years. She is survived by her daughter-in-law: Pamela Rocheford of Monroe; a step-son: Edward Wood of Brookings, Oregon; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Jim Wood, and her two sons: Tom Rocheford and Garry Rocheford. Private family services were held at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield and her ashes will be scattered at sea in California later this summer.
