Faye Cannon

Fountain Green, Utah - Our kind and beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Athalia Faye VanDyke Cannon, age 72, died February 17, 2013 in Nephi, Utah. She was born December 24, 1940 in Lyman, Utah, a daughter of Delmar Hyrum and Romania Carrell VanDyke. She married David Bert Cannon, September 14, 1957 in Lyman, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He died December 8, 2001. She is survived by her children: Gary Cannon of Kanab; Scott and Stephanie Cannon of South Jordan; Connie and Dean Jaramillo of West Jordan; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister and brothers: Beverly and Lloyd Beichner of Fountain Green; Alden and Montez VanDyke, Don and Marielin VanDyke, all of Lyman; Larry VanDyke of Salt Lake City. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 2 grandchildren; and two brothers, Blake and Merrill VanDyke. Friends may call for viewing at the Fountain Green 1st LDS Ward Chapel, 151 South 200 West in Fountain Green, Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon. Grave side services will be held Saturday afternoon at 3:00 P.M. in the Lyman Cemetery, under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
