Florence Fordham

Lyman, Utah - Florence Regina Beacham Fordham, age 88, of Lyman, passed away December 22, 2017 in Loa. She was born on September 15, 1929 in Stockton, Utah, a daughter of Franklin Richard and Ruth B. Quinn Beacham of Stockton, Utah. She married Max Taft Fordham on April 12, 1947 in Tooele, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple September 3, 1963. Max preceded her in death on January 28, 1997. Florence cherished the 49 years they had together and missed him deeply. Florence spent her life caring for those who entered her home. She raised five children with grace and understanding that each person has their own mission in life and deserved the space to grow. She instilled in them the desire and responsibility to share their talents and be a responsible citizen. If you entered her home you could feel her love and you left with a full tummy. Florence loved her Father-in-heaven and demonstrated it, by the way she lived her life. If you had the opportunity to know Florence you had the opportunity to feel and see God’s love in action. Mom, your passing leaves us with great sadness but the lessons you taught us will live forever through our actions. We love you. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the "Angels" from Gunnison Hospice and the staff at the Beehive Home in Loa, for their tender and loving care they have shown our beloved Mom during the past year. Florence leaves behind her children Pierre (Deanne) Fordham of West Valley City; Robert (Debbie) Fordham of Grover; Michael (Pat) Fordham of Richfield; Ann (deceased) and Ronald Allen of Stansbury Park; Kathleen (David) Urry of Lehi; 19 grandchildren and 50 great-grand-children and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Her husband, parents and five siblings have led the way to her new life. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. in the Lyman Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing at the Lyman LDS Ward Chapel Wednesday morning from 11:00 to 12:30 prior to services. Burial will be in the Lyman Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
