Floyd Vilo Allen

Sigurd, Utah - Floyd Vilo Allen, a beloved father and brother, passed away on September 23, 2024 in Provo, Utah. He was born on September 21, 1960, in Richfield, Utah, to Vilo James Allen and LaRae Neilson Allen, and he lived a life full of adventure and love for his family.

Floyd dedicated his professional life as a truck driver for Barney Trucking, where he was known for his hard work and commitment. His passion for the open road mirrored his love for the great outdoors. Floyd enjoyed fishing and camping at Fishlake and Rex Reservoir.

Floyd is survived by his children: Krystal Rae Allen Shaw of Gunnison, Dereck Floyd Vilo Allen of Richfield, and Tana Nicole Allen Husolo of Gunnison. Floyd’s family also includes his son-in-law, Paul Michael Husolo of Richfield, and his siblings: James Mont Allen of Sigurd, Julie Faye Wilson of Sigurd, and Melanie Dawn Washburn Valk of Sigurd, along with his brother-in-law, Thomas Valk of Richfield. Floyd was also blessed with six grandchildren. His legacy will be carried on by his cherished family. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vilo James Allen and LaRae Neilson Allen, and his siblings, Linda Rae Fox and Sherri Ann Allen. Additionally, he mourned the loss of his beloved daughters, Tianna Linda Allen and Sherri Ann Allen. He will also be remembered alongside his grandparents Raymond Neilson, Etta Belle Bay Neilson, Della Fay Harris, and Jonathan Ernest Allen, as well as his nephew, Austin Allen.

Floyd will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched. His spirit and love will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
