Centerfield, Utah - Our kind and loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, Lloyd Franklin Robertson Jr., age 67 of Centerfield, died December 14, 2012 in Gunnison, Utah of complications following surgery. He was born August 23, 1945 in St. Louis, Missouri, a son of Lloyd Franklin Sr. and Elphia Imogene Albert Robertson. He married Wanda Louise Matthews, March 3, 1968 in St. Louis, Missouri. They were later divorced. He married Kathy Hamburg, April 1, 1989 in Kearns, Utah. Frank worked for the State of Utah Department of Corrections at the Draper Prison from 1974 to 1989 and then was transferred when the Gunnison Prison opened and worked there from 1989 to 1994 when he retired as a Captain. Frank enjoyed guns, guns and more guns, knives, fishing and going to Mesquite to gamble, rest and relax. He enjoyed making jokes and giving people a hard time. He will be greatly missed. Frank is survived by his loving wife, Kathy, of Centerfield; his two daughters: Anita Dannette and Sioua Mafoa of Riverside, California; Patricia Robertson of Denver, Colorado; a grandson, Joshua Mafoa; and a sister, Roxie Scoggins of Price, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Sharon Kaye Earl. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home, 150 East Main Street in Salina, Monday December 17, 2012 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. where military honors will be accorded by the Gunnison Prison Honor Guard. At his request, his remains will be cremated and burial will take place at a later date under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
