Geneva Moore

Aurora, Utah - Our kind and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Geneva Murphy Moore, age 86, died February 19, 2013 at her home in Aurora, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 3, 1926 in Haskell, Oklahoma, a daughter of Edd Audust and Gracie Leota Wilson Murphy. She married William Selmer Moore, March 6, 1947 in Whitefield, Oklahoma. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple, April 26, 1969. She was a member of the LDS Church. She enjoyed quilting and gardening. She is survived by her beloved husband, William S. Moore, of Aurora; two daughters: Donna L. and Les Knoefler of Aurora; and Sandra K. and Rick Bretz of Salina; a daughter-in-law: Annette Moore of Salina; 10 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; a sister, Lydia B. and Chuck Phillips of Hurricane. She was preceded in death by her parents: Edd and Gracie Murphy; three sons and one daughter: William E. Moore, Charles E. Moore, Larry R. Moore and Carol J. Moore; two brothers and one sister: William E. Murphy, Eugene Murphy and Neomia G. Richardson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the Aurora 1st LDS Ward Chapel, 85 North Main Street, where friends may call for viewing Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial will be Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 P.M. in the Mountain View Cemetery in Marysvale, Utah, under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
