George T. Tuttle Richfield, Utah - George Thayle Tuttle, age 63, of Richfield, died April 10, 2004 in Richfield, Utah. He was born October 8, 1940 in Glenwood, Utah, a son of William Alexander and Narvilla Peterson Tuttle. He graduated from Richfield High School, Class of 1958. He served in the United States Navy. George married Colleen Margaret McDaniel and they were later divorced. He married Sherry Rea McFarlane and she died May 16, 2002. George was a dispatcher for the Union Pacific Railroad and worked all over southern Utah and Nevada. He grew up in Glenwood and was a life long resident of Sevier County. For the past 20 years, George enjoyed being a snowbird between Utah and Arizona. George owned his own airplane and thoroughly enjoy flying it. He was a member of the LDS Church. He is survived by a daughter, Kimberly D. Gladden of Las Vegas, Nevada; two grandchildren: Scott Wayne Gladden and Angela Gladden, both of Las Vegas; a special cousin, Gail and Roger Nielsen of Salina and his last surviving uncle, Lyle Peterson of Glenwood. He was preceded in death by two daughters: Shelly Marie Tuttle and Teresa Tuttle, that were killed in a house fire September 14, 1976. At his request, George was cremated and burial will take place at a later date. The family would like to extend a special thanks to friends, Ken Christiansen of Richfield; Al and JoAnn Cowles of Annabella; Joe and Carol Campbell of Circleville; and cousins, Gail and Roger Nielsen of Salina for their help, concerns and care for George.
