Geraldine H. Brand

May 26, 1936 — July 30, 2018

Our kind and beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, Geraldine Hill Brand, age 82, of Richfield, passed away July 30, 2018 at her home in Richfield. She was born May 26, 1936 in Rigby, Idaho, a daughter of Harold Agustaff and Eva Arvella Calderwood Hill. She married Joseph C. Williamson and they had one daughter. They were later divorced. She married Donald Lewis Burns and they had one son. They were later divorced. She married Clyde J. Brand June 1, 1972 in Elko, Nevada and they had two children. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He died April 3, 1982. Geraldine was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in the Relief Society, as a Sunday School Teacher and she loved attending the Temple. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, sewing, gardening, fishing and camping, and spending time with her grandchildren and family. She loved visiting and helping others. She will be greatly missed. Geraldine is survived by her children: Raelynn (David, deceased) Dennis of McGill, Nevada; Donald and Tora Burns of Elsinore; Elwood and Jody Lynn Brand of Greenwich; Vicki Ursula Brand and her fiancee, Chandler Pinard of Tacoma, Washington; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers and sister: Demont and Gae Hill Sr. of Lindon, Utah; Harold and Lillian Hill of Tampa, Florida; Dale and Bonnie Hill of Mesquite, Nevada; Rayola Hill of Richfield. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clyde; and three siblings: Donna May Hill Kenny, Verna Lee Offret and John August Ott. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 3, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel, 260 North 400 West in Richfield, where friends may call for viewing Thursday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Elsinore Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
