Gerry Moon Riddle

Aurora, Utah - Geraldean Evans Moon Riddle 1936-2022 passed away peacefully on September 28, 2022. She was born in Panguitch, Utah to Grant Evans and Nelda Lynn on March 17, 1936.

Gerry grew up on a farm in Riverton, Utah. Married Glenden H. Moon and raised 3 amazing sons. They lived in many various places including Kearns, Utah, Big Piney Wyoming (with many memories living and working on a ranch) and Riverton, Utah. And later, lived in Tropic, Utah and Aurora, Utah.

Gerry loved her family and spending time with them. Some of her many talents and favorite things to do were sewing, crafts, dancing, singing, music in general, spending time at Panguitch cabin and fishing at Panguitch Lake. She loved to give hugs. She was a friend to everyone she met. Love oozed out of her. Her positive attitude was contagious. She was happy even as she dealt with many hard trials in her life.

Gerry became a widow in September of 1976. Later married Lavarro Floyd Riddle and spent many years together until his death in 2009. She served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania between her two marriages. She loved serving the Lord in this capacity and many others. Her occupations were Teacher and Homemaker. She had a love for life and her family and made a great impact for good on all those she had the opportunity to rub shoulders with.

Gerry is survived by her 3 sons G. Scott Moon (Teresa), Chuck Moon (Debbie) and Grant Moon (Amber), 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by 2 husbands, 1 son, her parents, 1 brother, and 2 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. in the Richfield Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing from 1:30-2:30 P.M. at the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel in Richfield, 260 North 400 West.

Services are under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Richfield and Salina, Utah.

Mom – we will miss you. We will see you again someday and be ready to receive one of your hugs and to see your smile.
