Gertrude M Thompson

Salina, Utah - Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Gertrude M. Stallings Thompson, age 86, of Salina, died May 10, 2012 in Centerfield, Utah. She was born December 15, 1925 in Waterflow, New Mexico, a daughter of Paul D. and Maude Ann Gibson Stallings. She married Jarvie Thompson, November 18, 1964 in Ely, Nevada. She is survived by her husband of Salina; 10 children: Evelyn Packer, Peggy Perry, Carolyn Hampton, Maggie Hedger, Ronnie Peck, Marty Wilkinson, Dixie Lucas, Kerry Barney, Kim Thompson and Jill Curtis; 31 grandchildren; numerous great-grand and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by all her brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel, 260 North 400 West in Richfield, where friends may call for viewing Thursday morning from 11:30 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Salina Pioneer Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
