Hal J. Beck

Manti, Utah - Our beloved son, brother and uncle, Hal James Beck, age 56, of Manti, died December 24, 2013 at his home in Manti. He was born July 11, 1957 in Gunnison, Utah, a son of Donald Arlin and Beverly Jane Leavitt Beck. He graduated from Gunnison Valley High School, Class of 1975 and attended a trade tech in auto mechanics. He was a member of the National Guard and the LDS Church. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and auto repair. Hal is survived by his mother of Centerfield; brothers and sisters: Jeffery Beck of Centerfield; Sherrie and Lennie Gammon of Price; Julie and Ronald Anderson of Centerfield; Christopher and Keiko Beck of Renton, Washington; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Beck. A casual Memorial service will be held at the Old Rock Church in Centerfield on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will take place at a later date under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
