Centerfield, Utah - Harold Lee Schmid, age 76, of Centerfield, Utah passed away on May 14, 2024, in Gunnison, Utah. He was born June 5, 1947, in Bensenville, Illinois to Charles Herbert Schmid and Evelyn Lucille Harmon Schmid.
Hal married Ann Catherine Christensen on February 14, 1987, and they were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on February 13, 1988.
He is survived by wife, Ann Catherine Christensen; sister: Tammy (Bill) Komparda; son: Jason Lee (Tatiana); granddaughters: Emma, Kiara, Liliane and Melina Schmid; daughter: Katelyn Ann (Jared Junior) Ludvigson; grandsons: Junior Jared and Redge Hal Ludvigson; sisters-in-law: Shirley C. Roper and Marilyn Oliver; brothers-in-law: Ray (Rinda) Christensen and Jerry C. (Christina) Christensen.
He is preceded in death by parents; in-laws: Merlin Deloy and Martha Catherine Bishop Christensen; sister: Joy Schmid; brothers-in-law: Ken Deloy, Kay, Don Merlin, Scott D. Christensen and Gary Lovell Roper.
Graveside Services were held May 18, 2024, in the Centerfield City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
