Richfield, Utah - On March 28, 2007, after a valiant battle against Parkinson' disease, Hal V. Bradley decided to return to his Father in Heaven and be reunited with his loving spouse Genial. He was born June 5, 1926 in Delta, Utah, the second of three sons born to Vincent Faux and Aretta Hansen Bradley. He spent his growing up years in Elsinore, Utah. He graduated from South Sevier High School. At the ages of 16 he was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad as a Railroad Telegrapher, one of the youngest persons to hold that position. At 17 as a member of the U.S. Navel Reserve he was called to duty and served in the Philippine Islands during World War II. Upon his discharge from the Navy he answered a help wanted advertisement that appeared in the Richfield Reaper. The Reaper employed him as a Compositor/Pressman, a temporary job that lasted 43 years. He worked with 3 generations of the Fuellenbach Family, publishers of the Reaper. In 1953 he was made a Journeyman Printer by the International Typographical Union. On April 8, 1949 he married Hope Genial Larson in Las Vegas, Nevada. A union of 60 years until she passed away February 26, 2006. The couple had one son, Brad V. (Tracie Lee) and three grandchildren (Megan, Vincent and Paige). He partnered with his older brother and a friend to establish a radio station in Ely, Nevada. He was a member of the Richfield Junior Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Richfield and Elsinore American Legion Posts. He is a charter member of the Richfield Elks Lodge. Hal was preceded in death by his father, Vincent Faux Bradley, mother Aretta Pauline Hansen and brother Dale. He is survived by his brother Garr Bradley, son Brad V. Bradley (Tracie) and (his pride and joy) grandchildren Megan Lee, Vincent Hal and Paige Hope. A viewing will be held for friends and family at the Springer Turner Funeral Home, 260 North 400 West, Richfield, Utah on Friday, March 30, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Graveside services with military honors accorded by the VFW Sevier Post #5050 will be held Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 12 Noon in the Richfield City Cemetery.
