Richfield, Utah - Our kind and beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, brother and uncle, Harold William Duncan, age 90, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018 in Richfield. He was born January 28, 1928 in Neola, Utah, a son of Ivan Henry and Mariah Keel Duncan. He grew up in Neola. He enlisted in the United States Army and served his country for 18 months as an MP. He was a member of the LDS Church. He married Nelda Nadean Ross July 13, 1957 in Ely, Nevada.. She died August 19, 2007. Harold enjoyed dancing, horseback riding, going to yard sales, refinishing furniture, hunting, music, and he always had a butterscotch candy for the grandkids. He will be missed. Harold is survived by his children: Charlotte Carr of Fruitland; Gloria Nan Connelley of California; Kenneth and Cynthia Avery of Elsinore; Brent and Shauna Avery of Annabella; Susan Ludwig of Salt Lake City; Jackie Fullmer of Richfield; Vicki (deceased) and Jerry Jacobsen of Richfield; Scott and Lorrie Duncan of Elsinore; 21 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; sisters and brother: Thelma Jacobson and Marjorie Hunter, both of Salt Lake City; El Ray and Bonnie Duncan of Neola. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nelda; 7 grandchildren; and 3 siblings: Florene, Geviene and Edwin. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 1, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel, 260 North 400 West in Richfield, where friends may call for viewing Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial with military honors accorded by the Monroe American Legion Post #37 and the Utah Honor Guard will be in the Joseph Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
