Harry Goetz Richfield, Utah - Rudolph Harry Goetz, age 77, of Richfield died March 9, 2004 at the Promise Specialty Hospital in West Valley City. He was born May 10, 1926 in Denver, Colorado the last of eight children of Henry and Katherine Elizabeth Gore Goetz. Harry served in the US Navy for 13 years. He was aboard the USS Antietam during the Korean Conflict. He married Ruth Weber and she died. He married Lois Jenson, January 15, 1970 in Winnemucca, Nevada. Harry was a Master Mason of the Hiram Lodge #12 F& A M. Harry’s lifelong profession was upholstery. He was very talented with his hands. Harry leaves behind a great legacy of beautiful work. He enjoyed reading, music, dancing and traveling, as well as the simple things in life. Harry is survived by his wife, Lois; two daughters: Sharon and Paul Geertsen; Sandra and Doug Hein; four grandchildren: Paul and Heather Geertsen; Mike and Mandy Geertsen; Jonathon and Lindsay Geertsen; Christine and Cameron Porter; six great-grandchildren: Ben, Will, Maia, Sofi, Brendan and Adren; two sisters: Esther Webber and Betty James. Harry was a very special man and will be missed by all those who knew him. Harry left his love to his family and friends and at his request, no services will be held.
