Heidi Sue Draper

January 30, 1973 — January 19, 2022

Our dear daughter, mother, sister and friend, Heidi Sue Draper, age 48, passed away January 19, 2022, from Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer at the home of her sister in Annabella, Utah, surrounded by her loving family. Heidi was born January 30, 1973 in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Lowell Allen and Neta Crowther Draper. She grew up in Gunnison and graduated from Gunnison Valley High School, Class of 1991. Heidi has always been our Freebird and had a mind of her own. This led her on many adventures and she eventually landed in Fairbanks Alaska. She purchased land in Alaska and built a cabin with the help of family and friends. This was a huge adventure in itself and her family and friends have so many memories of this adventure. Heidi enjoyed good food and good friends and knew how to love life through hard work, love and laughter. Heidi was a massage therapist for 10 years and was known to be very caring to her clients and do everything she could do to help them heal naturally. She also worked at the local post office in Fairbanks and was known as a very special person that loved everyone she came in contact with. She always had a beautiful smile and a listening ear. The family would like to thank Shawna Keith for her love and care; Gunnison Valley Hospice for their quick call to help and their compassion; and the Annabella 2nd Ward for their compassionate service. Heidi is survived by her parents, Lowell and Neta Draper of Manti; her sisters: April (Berkley) Beach of Annabella; Michelle Maddock of Clearfield; and Angie Draper Jensen of Manti; her children: Jaimy Henninson of Salina; Justina Lambert of Fairbanks, Alaska; Jewels Lambert of California; and James (Fred) Lambert of Anchorage, Alaska; 6 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. There will be not service at the request of Heidi. Please take some time to reflect on the memories you have of Heidi and do an act of service for someone in need. Services under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
