Helen Kirk

Centerfield, Utah - Florence Helen Popilek Kirk, age 69, died October 7, 2004 in Mayfield, Utah. She was born August 31, 1936 in Hibbing, Minnesota, a daughter of Robert and Aina Florence Suojanen Popilek. She attended Van Nuys High School in California. She married Glen Osborne in February of 1954 in Sepulveda, California. They were later divored. She married James C. Hayes in June of 1957 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were later divorced. She married Rufus Kirk Jr. in 1983 in Houston, Texas. They were later divorced. Helen enjoyed yard sales, crocheting, reading, watching TV, traveling to see her children and taking care of her two faithful dogs, Gizmo and Tyree. She is survived by her children: Frances and Kent Ladner of Saucier, Mississippi; Robert Osborne of Houston, Texas; Aina and Ray Withey of Vienna, Ohio; James and Jennifer Hayes of Dayton, Texas; Michael and Cindy Hayes of Denver, Colorado; Tanny Kirk of Rock Springs, a sister, Dodie Staples of Centerfield, Utah and a nephew, Ernie Zimmer of Centerfield; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two ex-husband, Glen Osborne and James C. Hayes. Memorial services will be held at a later date. At her request, her remains have been cremated and burial will take place in Vienna, Ohio. Funeral directors: Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
