Hope Jensen Little

Salina, Utah - Hope Johnson Jensen Little, age 93, of Sandy and formerly of Salina, passed away September 22, 2014 in Murray. She was born August 28, 1921 in Salina, a daughter of Soloman Stephen and Anne Elnora Sorenson Johnson. She graduated from North Sevier High School, Class of 1939. She married James OrLee Jensen, November 8, 1941 in Pacific Grove, California. He died April 14, 1969. She married Leo Eber Little, January 11, 1974 in Elko, Nevada. He died November 18, 1990. Hope was a member of the LDS Church. She enjoyed reading, doing crafts, crochet and spending time with her loving family. She is survived by her children: Sherri and Ivan Fabert of Salt Lake City; DyAnne and Jack McKellar of West Valley City; Lorraine and Dean Acord of Salt Lake City; Alan and Sheri Jensen of Bluffdale; Karl and Sherri Jensen, Kevin and Kathleen Jensen, all of Sandy; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; a daughter, Linda Jensen; two sisters and three brothers: Eva Mackey, Herald Bardell Johnson, Joseph Odean Johnson, James Stephen Johnson and Myrth Johnson. Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. in the Salina Eastside Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home, 150 East Main Street in Salina, Saturday morning from 9:00 to 9:45 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Eastside Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
