Howard Lamar Lippincott

Richfield, Utah – Our father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Howard Lamar Lippincott, passed away peacefully at his home in Richfield on September 28, 2020 at the age of 80. Howard was born on November 22, 1939 in Montebello, California to Howard Lamar Lippincott and Thelma Elberta Rima. He graduated from Montebello High School in 1957. He married Donice Godshalk in 1958. They later divorced. He married Norma Burnett Robey in 1966. They were together until Norma’s passing in January of 2017. Howard loved cars, tinkering, camping, and fishing. He used to take his family camping and fishing in Utah, and always dreamed of moving from their hometown of Whittier, California to Richfield, Utah. He finally made that move in 2007 and has since made many friends in Utah. Howard was always gifted mechanically, but never went to college. He started working at Pacific Telephone at 17 and retired with 30 years of service at just 47. He has tinkered ever since. Howard is survived by his son, Alan Lippincott of Huntington Beach, California; daughters: Jill Lippincott of Adelante, California and Michele Ayala of San Pedro, California; sister Marla Wilkerson of Elsinore; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and is now reunited in heaven with his beloved wife Norma. Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 24th at the Richfield City Cemetery and are under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
