Hydi Ann Whitehead

Richfield, Utah - Our kind and talented daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Hydi Ann Whitehead, age 33, died suddenly and unexpectedly on October 12, 2010 at her home in Richfield. She was born July 29, 1977 in Richfield, a daughter of Rodney Greg Whitehead and Katherine Hope Snedeger. She graduated from Salt Lake Community and was a member of the LDS Church. Hydi was a very talented artist and poet. Her free spirit allowed her to draw as well as tattoo. She enjoyed being with her family as well as her friends. She loved being with her “button” Abi and Bradon, Nathen, Damon......her babies. As family and friends, we will miss Hydi always, and hold her memories deep in our hearts. Hydi is survived by her mother, Katherine Snedeger of Sigurd; her father, Rodney and Diane Whitehead of Evanston, Wyoming; a sister, Misty and Billy Brinda and their daughter, Abigail, all of Sigurd; aunts and uncles: Silvia Snedeger and Lewis Snedeger, both of Sigurd; Robin S. Jenkins of Murray; Frank and Christine Snedeger of Magna; Teresa Bryant of Kearns; and many cousins and second cousins, whom she loved and was very close to. She was preceded in death by Michelle “Chewie” Thompson, the love of her life; her grandparents: Chad and Ruby Snedeger, Richard and Patricia Whitehead; and her aunt, Debbie Alder. A celebration of Hydi’s life will be held on Friday, October 29, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. in the Sigurd LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Fremont Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
